Good news…..The trails have been officially renumbered, and as of today all sign posts with correct markings are officially installed! This new numbering system was developed by the Ouachita ATV club in collaboration with our local nation forest personnel. We can’t guarantee you won’t get lost….but you might have to work at it a little harder!
The numbering system is based on the same principles as a highway map.Odd-Numbered Trails: North/South RouteEven-Numbered Trails: East/West RouteTrail # ending in “0″ : Dead End3-Digit trail number: Connecting Trail (ex. Trail 614 connects trail 6 and trail 4)With this new numbering system, every trail has it’s own number.
Any map you have prior to August 15, 2009 will not be accurate.
